Staff is very helpful and friendly, near to istiklal/taksim
very friendly staff good location 5 minutes walk to isteklal street
It´s very charming and feels like a place you might want to live. We only stayed for one night, but it felt like a cute little find. I would stay definitely stay there again.
The bathroom was a little dark and not as cute as the rest of the room, but it was fine.
My time at Cezayir Suites was memorable and very enjoyable. The owners and personnel of the hotel were more than willing to help and I shall never forget their kindness to me. Being on holiday it was a pleasure to have breakfast late in the morning, especially as I am a late riser, not to mention my reluctance at leaving a very comfortable bed. The only negative point was not the fault of the hotel but of the water company. Three times while in the shower and fully soaped up the water was cut off, my language was not very diplomatic :). My thanks again to everyone at the hotel for helping to make it a wonderful holiday.
I only stayed here for one night as afterwards I was staying with friends, but if not I definitely would have stayed here longer! Onur, the owner, welcomed us with open arms and drinks (even though I arrived at 1am because of delayed flight) and even upgraded me to a superbig room. The next day I could have breakfast whenever I wanted, which turned out to be noon but that was no problem at all + very nice. So a real recommendation for this place
The street is very cosy but I can imagine there can be some late night music sometimes, I didn't have any problem though.
Location is sensational. Ceyazir Sokag is such a beautiful laneway lined with cafes and bars and Beyoglu is a great suburb with heaps of shops and restaurants. Tram to Sultanahmet is 200m down the hill and up the hill is easy access to Galata and Taksim. Onur, the owner, is very friendly & helpful as are his staff. Room was a decent size, clean and has tv, wifi, fridge and sink. Towels and linen all good. Shower was large and clean (the whole fitout is basically new). I will stay there again.
The wc was maybe a bit tight but that is the only negative.
The hotel is located in a beautiful coloured small lane packed with bars and restaurants. The position is lovely: uphill, 5 minutes walking from the sea and 2 from the Istiklal. The hotel opened few months ago, so the rooms and toilets are very clean. The bed is confortable, and the room style is relatively personalized and warm. A good mediterranean breakfast is served at every time. Not all the staff can speak english but they have always been very friendly and kind.
During the weekend the loud music in the lane goes on till 2am; just for info, if that's not what you are looking for!
The hotel was very attractive and stylish in a really interesting area. The rooms are very clean and lots of important details were attended to, for example, the mattress was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. There is a pretty area in front of the hotel where we could sit to have breakfast - the food was delicious. The staff are friendly and were very flexible, offering us breakfast at a very early hour before we left.
Nothing we didn't like about the hotel. The only thing I would say is that, because of the area, the hotel is maybe better for young people who have come to Istanbul for clubs and music as there is live music being played. This is great but sometimes we wanted a break from it for a late afternoon siesta!
I knew Cezayir Sokak before, that was the reason I choose this hotel. I had dinner next to Galata Tower and turn back by walking, had some drink with live music in Cezayir Sokak before enter hotel. Istiklal Caddesi, Taksim nigth life, Cihangir also in walking distance. Hotel has good atmosphere, and was clean and comfortable.
Its very nice hotel with friendly staff i came early to the hotel at 8:00 and they could arrange for me the room, even my check out also was early but they arranged my breakfast just for me, its located in one of the most romantic and social street beside its near to taksim just 3 minute walk
Location, close to Taksim and in the bohemian area of Beyoglu.
Noisy, rooms should be better taken care of. The ground floor room very dark and small.
The staff is nice. Near the city centre.
The room by the street is extremely loud. Impossible to sleep at the weekends until 4am. Hotel located at the heart of local clubbing centre. Live music played at the street very loudly. The quality of rooms vary a lot depending on the room. Braekfast served very late, at about 9am. The personell cares more about the guests of the bar than of the hotel.
One of the best places we have stayed at in Istanbul. The location, the room, the service and the staff were all excellent.
Very friendly staff, great neighbourhood, comfortable bed, lots of character.
The actual street is very noisy, my least favourite part of an otherwise quiet neighbourhood (though some obviously like the bars/restaurants it offers).
Staff is very helpful and friendly, near to istiklal/taksim
